Our products are made by infusing extract from hemp into them. Many brands use only cbd that has been removed from the extract. It is much less inexpensive to use CBD Isolate in the making of products. (“CBD Isolate” is cbd that has been removed from the extract) However, Highland Pharms CBD Hemp Oil products receive only Full Spectrum CBD Extract. This means you get the CBD – PLUS all the other cannabinoids – when you use our products. Full Spectrum means that the full spectrum of cannabinoids (like CBC, CBG, CBN, etc) along with all the hundreds of phytonutrients are still in our products.
Not only do you get all these other compounds, you get what is called the “Entourage Effect”. The Entourage Effect is this: When CBD is present, this is good. When CBD is present with CBC, they each multiply the effects of the other. And, when CBG is present with these other two cannabinoids, they are multiplied by the CBG. And, when you add the several hundred phytonutrients in there…they all multiply each other, too.

Grown on a farm in the crisp highlands of Colorado, our extract is grown on a boutique farm by a farmer with decades of experience growing similar type plants in Northern California. And, with the exception of our Crystals which are an isolate (read product for more info), all of our products are made using only the Full Spectrum Extract from hemp.
